After silver here last season, Kantor/Losiak want to go one better in 2018
Two weeks after securing only their second World Tour gold medal – Polish pair Piotr Kantor and Bartosz Losiak want another one here in Gstaad.
The pair have had the unfortunate knack of finishing second – in the past two seasons the dynamic duo picked up silver five times.
One of those silver medals came here in the mountains last season when they lost in the final to Americans Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena.
But after a run of one gold, one silver and one bronze in their last three tournaments, the current world number ones are already on their way to the knockout rounds in the mountains.
They recorded a comfortable victory over Switzerland’s Michiel Zandbergen and Gabriel Kissling before winning a three-set thriller against Christiaan Varenhorst and Jasper Bouter of the Netherlands.
So can they go one better in Gstaad a pick up the one cowbell everyone wants to take home?
