Americans to take on Poles in a battle for gold
Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena gained some revenge over Brazil by beating Evandro Goncalves and Andre Loyola to reach their second successive Gstaad Major final.
The Americans lost to Evandro and his former partner Pedro Solberg Salgado 12 months ago in the final.
But Dalhausser, who is celebrating his 10th tournament in Gstaad, and Lucena were in top form to see off the challenge of the South Americans in Sunday morning’s semifinal at a packed Center Court.
The straight sets victory meant the Americans now play against Polish pair Kantor/Losiak in the final at 3.05pm CET.
