Why? The Swiss team are the number one seeds in the women’s competition – and with good reason. The bronze medalists from Poreč last week are hunting a first ever gold medal for Switzerland on home sand. They take on Brazilian qualifiers Taiana/Elize who finished ninth in Croatia last wek.

Why? Home favorites Nico and Marco also go into their first match in Gstaad in good form having finished fourth in The Hague last month. They face a stern test on Center Court against dangerous Cuban duo who finished fifth in the Olympics last year.
